Coast Guard's gun training may switch to laser tag

The U.S. Coast Guard has proposed training with MILES gear 3-5 miles off the coast of Cleveland in Lake Erie.

"Halo" tag

Coming to a Hot Topic and other retailers in October are a couple Covenant weapons from "Halo" video game and their laser receivers. Halo Laser Pursuit will have the Plasma Rifle and Pistol. The Covenant Energy Sword is expected sometime next year. Halo Laser Pursuit is made by Jasman Toys. Image

The gameplay is designed to work more like Halo, in that you have shields that recharge if you can get away from the other team. Link

Make's videoblogger Bre Pettis put the Make MP3 player kit into a laser tag belt and gun. Pulling the trigger advances the songs. Link
