New gun, add-ons
Lazer Tag Team Ops IRT-2X gun, Dot Scope and Thunder Pack.
I'm told all these should be in stores soon.
The IRT-2X has removed the need for a manual reload, fires in up to 3-shot bursts, does not have medic mode or MEGA TAGS. The MEGA TAGS are adequately replaced by the 3-shot bursts which fire fast enough to give it an advantage over the Deluxe, since the 3 quick shots don't cause an overheat, unlike the MEGA TAG.
You can set 2 IRT-2X guns with the same player ID, so you can have 1 in each hand and rack up more tags on your opponents. The guns divide total hits remaining, ammo, shields and MEGA TAGS evenly between the 2, so you still have the same stats as other players, but can apply more firepower, and also take hits quicker if both guns are lined up in the sites of an opponent when they fire.
Another great feature the IRT-2X (nicknamed "Drone") has, is a sight along the top of the tagger for easier aiming.
The other big thing about the IRT-2X is that you will now have access to 4 more preprogrammed games to choose from, and they are compatible with the Deluxes and any future gear released.
ACCESSORY PACK: The accessory pack will include a Thunder Pack and a Dot Scope. Both will attach to the Deluxe or the IRT-2X taggers.
