1) IR Emitters: SFH484-2 found at www.Marshall.com, It is the top for power to current ratio, Drive it at about 2 Amps 150 meter range with a 2 inch lens (about 2-3 dioptre) 200-300+ meters. For a grenade barrel, 1-inch lens 8-12x magnification gives a lot of spread. 2) The Frequencies: Could be found with an Oscilloscope or a Multimeter with a frequency counter. Found frequencies: 120 Hz, 170 Hz, 250Hz. 3) Original lens assembly: The curved side is faced away from the IR LED. 4) Other lens assemblies: lenses like this will produce a wide shot )( . Lenses with a shape like this will produce a straight shot large beam when the IR beam is like this: =D<(). When the same assembly is not measured and is just placed near the LED it will produce a shot where the beam will cross after passing trough the lens extending the range of the shot. 5) The color of the wires in a V2 Pistol: Red - Positive power supply Black - Negative power supply Yellow - sound White - light Green - Max blast switch Brown - Reset switch Orange - Arm switch Gray - ELS Data line 6) Adding a 2nd barrel to the Firestorm: When doing this you will need a soldering iron, A drill, 35mm Film canister, Electrical wire, Electrical tape, Wire strippers, A IR LED with a mounting bracket, sticky squares of Velcro, and a Monaural jack and plug.
