Hey there,

Good to here that there is another WoW-based Laser Tag Group in the Northwest USA. Perhaps the Seattle Laser Tag Club and your Portland group could get together since we're only three hours away. I have a Y-rig sensor that I could send you for a reference on building your own. As well, I know where you can find all of the electronics you need to make the Y-rig. Send me some email with you mailing address to:

dougross@seattlelasertag.com

and I'll get that Y-rig sensor off to you. I'm sure that I and the rest of our Seattle Tag Club would like to help you in any way possible to improve our chances of getting some games going with you all there in Portland.:-)

By the way, if you go with the Fiat Lux sensors, I think you'll be very happy with them. I found that they do have a few problems with sunlight, but they're not too bad. The only problem is that I wish that they were louder but it looks like an amplifier can be added if needed.

By the way, around April we'll be having games at Fort Worden State Park which is a lot like Fort Sevens there in Portland only much bigger. We, as well, use stock gear, only we use the Survivor Shots. They have just a slight better range than the WoW Starlyte Pistols we have found that they compete very witll the the Survivor Shots since we had quite a mixture of both types of gear over the past few years.

Take care and keep in touch,

Doug Ross
