simple mods? hmmm...Most clubs won't allow laser pointers, and they can be very difficult to attach, but there are ways. For instance, I have three laser pointers slaved to 3 AAA batteries hooked up to a simple microswitch (off by default, on when switch is pushed in)that when turned on emits a laser that looks exactly like the Predator's. Attaching a laser pointer to hard plastic is more difficult than it seems. First you'll need to get some epoxy. mix that, put a dab on the gun where you want your sight and let it dry for about 4 hours. Now superglue your laser pointer to the epoxy which is dried on the gun. The reason you don't directly glue the pointer using epoxy is for accuracy reasons. You can't very well hold a laser pointer to the gun in a precise position for 4 hours : ) It helps if you havea sensor about 50 feet or more away, and a person to superglue the pointer on while you adjust it for accuracy. I suggest you get rid of the button cell batteries that most pointers use as they will suck batteries down. Each button cell is 1.5 volts, and AAA batteries are 1.5 volts. The best solution is to wire it to a battery pack (easily gotten at radio shack). You may have to short out one connection if your battery pack has 4 spaces instead of the three you need.
I think a flashlight would be too heavy for practical use once you factor in batteries, but you may want to try it with tape first to see if it works for you.
A scope would look cool, but it's really not needed since an unmodified v2 gun doesn't really shoot far enough to need one.
