I finally got my PC Osiliscope set up and put a trace on the IR LED outputs.
The Standard pulses were what I expected. 40Khz carrier modulated at three different rated for Single, Max and reset.
the SURPRISE came when I put the ELS adapter on. NO CARRIER !! Just 6 pulses for Red, 7 pulses for blue.
I expected a carrier modulared with a character, or a wider spectrum of frequencies, but no carrier ?? How can this work with the sensors ignoring everything that isn't carrier based ??
Can someone PLEASE confirm what I am seeing ??
