simple, durable indoor tag advice

Any suggestions on what to purchase for a simple, durable home indoor basement game for kids? The basement is big, approx 2000sq ft.

For a first introduction, and three young kids (4-6), utter simplicity and workability is the most important thing. Anyone have suggestions?
