First, have everyone write their name or assigned number on a durable piece of paper like a tag or small piece of cardboard even. Not some scrap piece and you'll see why later. Then, draw names and that person is your target. You then scatter onto the playing field (Quick tip: keep an eye on your target as it may help when play starts), wait the agreed upon time limit (let's say 30 sec-1 min, depending on play area) and hunt down your target. If you happen to take down your target, go up to them and take their target's tag. This new tag is your new target.
: Eventually it should work down to 2 people hunting each other (like those snipers in that movie, Enemy at the Gate, good flick!) and whoever kills first, wins. I called it Assassin's Guild b/c you did just kill the person but you'll still continue his/her mission as a courtesy. Honour amongst thieves kind of thing. So if this idea was thought up before or is incredibly similar, I must claim ignorance and forgiveness. It's really a variation or improvement to the description I read anyway. But, if it wasn't thought of, play on!!!
I know I just wrote this but I just thought of something else. There is a great opportunity in this game to team up with someone. Also, take care in who your shooting at. If you assassinate someone that's NOT your target then things get interesting! Or your FUBAR-ed. Thanks!!
