Thanks for asking! I've y-rigged two sensors so far, ended up putting 4 extra sensors on each one and putting small green or red leds inside them. We now have one sensor with 4 green sensors y rigged to it, and one sensor with 4 red sensors rigged to it. Finding clear plastic domes was the hardest part. It took awhile, but I finally thought of using clear plastic film canisters. They're kind of an opaque white, but they recieve perfectly and the opaque white kind of diffuses the led's light so the whole sensor looks like a quarter-sized green or red dot. Not to mention that you can get as many as you want for free from film development places. Can't beat the price. Very cool looking and EXCELLENT for night games (which we primarily play). Oddly enough those photodiodes from allelectronics seem to work a bit differently that the ones in the starsensor and that sensor you sent me. Only one for each sensor is needed instead of two. As soon as I get some more disposable money, I'll buy the parts needed to finish up the rest of the sensors.

Hmmm.....maybe I should actually document all this and put it on a site somewhere. Anyone want to host it? : )

I'll let the other guys know about the upcoming game. We may also be able to head up there around spring break. My birthday as well as one of the other guy's birthdays fall on spring break, so we should have some free time.

Talk to you later,
chris

: Hi Chris,

: Just wondering if you need help with any of your new gear? How is the Y-rig gear coming? Hope all is going well. The Seattle Laser Tag Club decided to brave the cold and have a winter game at Fort Worden near Seattle most likely the last Saturday in February or the first Saturday in March. Fort Worden is a decommissioned naval base with some really nice concrete bunkers that are spectacular for tag. They are a lot like Fort Stevens near your area in Portland.

: Take care,

: Doug Ross
